An oil slick, about five miles off the coast of Niger Delta was identified. The one mile wide slick of oil stretches 11.5 miles. The source of oil is suspected to be the Chevron Nigeria Fire and Blowout. The original image was taken on February 8, 2012 and was acquired from the ASAR image database of the European Space Agency. Show this image in Google Earth.
