An oil slick, 10 miles off of the coast of the Mississippi Delta was identified. The 0.5 mile wide slick of oil stretches 15.8 miles south of the platform, the source of the oil is Taylor Energy Platform 23051. The original image was taken on December 21, 2011 and was acquired from the ASAR image database of the European Space Agency. Show this Image In Google Earth.
